We’re a company that started in 2021, but our roots date back to 2001 when BC Foam pioneered PET foam extrusion.
Over the years, we have supported clients with various material needs such as PS, PE, PLA, and other biodegradables polymers.

Our XPET extrusion plants can use up to 100% recycled PET.
In addition to sustainability, PET foam has high heat resistance, good chemical resistance, and excellent mechanical properties.
Xeltrusion technology, utilizing co-rotating twin screws, is at the core of our efficient extrusion process.This technology ensures good mixing and excellent control of the process temperature, key parameters for reactive extrusion.
Our extruders can realize products in both panel and sheet form. Suitable for various markets including wind energy, marine industry, food packaging, and thermal insulation applications.

Xeltrusion was founded by Alessio Morino, a highly experienced mechanical engineer.
He started his career at BC Foam, a manufacturer of extrusion foaming plants, in the Technical and R&D department.
Later in 2008, he became CEO, and in 2012 he supported the acquisition by BASF Group.
In late 2016, Gurit expressed interest in the company and acquired it.
As a result of these experiences ,Xeltrusion was founded in 2021, to produce extrusion plants, offering 360° support from development to final product.
